I grew up on a farm near Green Isle, MN. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a BA in Religion/Sociology and from Luther Seminary with a Master of Divinity.  I have been married to Thomas (Tom)  Maltman for 20 years. He teaches English at Normandale Community College and is also the author of The Night Birds, Little Wolves, and The Land.  I have three daughters Tess, Emma, and Daisy. When I am not driving my daughters to soccer, basketball, or other activities, I enjoy walking the nature trails and reading as part of a book club. I started working at Servant of Christ on Easter Sunday of 2010.
