Service Groups and Committees
Whatever your gifts, there is a place for you to serve at Servant of Christ!

Worship and Music Committee
Meets as needed.

Outreach and Good News Team
Chairperson: Connie Nelson

Christian Living Team
Helps the congregation meet its financial goals through pledging. Meets as needed. Chairperson: Walter Kalsow

Hospitality Committee
Organizes and serves food for special events like Lenten suppers, Rally Sunday, funerals, etc. Meets as needed. Chairperson: Teale Colston

Worship Hospitality Teams
Provides for and organizes ushers, acolytes, greeters, counters, and communion servers for the worship

Social Action Committee
Organizes congregational service projects and provides opportunities for community service. Chairperson: Heidi Kingdon

Celebration Choir
Leads the congregation in song at the 9:00 service. Practices: Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Contact: Susan Huemann

Women of the Evangelical Lutheran
This group organizes the Scandinavian Tea, Bazaar and Craft Sale which is held the first Saturday of November. Date: Saturday, November 1 from 9am – 2pm.

Servant Song
The worship band leads the congregation in song and praise at the 10:30 service. They rehearse Mondays at 6:30 pm. Contact: Barb Auer

Christian Education Committee
Supports and oversees all of the educational ministries of the congregation.
Chairpersons: Anne Schaefer and Jeanine McClellan

Sunday School Staff
Volunteers lead our young people on Sunday mornings, sharing with them Bible stories from the Old and New Testament.

Care Callers
Contact every member of the congregation three times a year asking for prayer requests or any questions or concerns members may have. Care Callers meet as needed after each calling cycle. Contact Marge Kvern

Youth Board
Organizes and supports the youth ministry. Meets the second Monday of every month at
6:30 pm.

Building and Grounds Committee
Attends to the upkeep and management of the physical facility. Meets as needed.

Liturgical Arts
Team makes the worship space inviting and beautiful, in keeping with the liturgical season. Meets as needed. Chairperson: Joan Pechauer

Needs and Goals
Supports the congregation in its future planning. Meets as needed.

Supports the congregation through administrative oversight and guidance.
