“I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made the heaven and earth.” Psalm 121

Sunday morning is full of cheerful faces, happy voices and God's word. Our Sunday School program
has classes available at 9:00 and 10:45. The children sing, hear stories about Jesus from the bible,
and engage in activities and more as they learn more about God.
Children in grades Kingergarten through 6th grade receive a "Faith Stepping Stone" each year
as they grow in their faith. As our children step forward physically, spiritually we take a moment
to bless and pray for them. Each year they receive a small token to mark the occasion.
The mission of Sunday School is to make disciples. Servant of Christ Lutheran Church is a place where children come to know God’s great love for them. As children grow in their faith, parents and the church work together to teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed and the Ten commandments. Together, we place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for their instruction in the Christian faith. We assist families with their child’s faith development so that what they learn and experience sustains now and throughout their life.
Specifically, it is our hope that:
Preschool children (3-5) will come to know…
“God made me!”
“God loves me!”
“Jesus wants to be my friend forever!”
Older children (1st – 6th grade)
“I need to do the wise thing.”
“I can trust God no matter what.”
“I should treat others the way I want to be treated.”
“We are created to praise and worship God.”
As children grow in their faith, they will:
