Sunday School
For age 3 through 6th grade, there is Sunday School at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. every week.

The Mission of Sunday School is to Make Disciples
Servant of Christ Lutheran Church is a place where children come to know God’s great love for them. As children grow in their faith, parents and the church work together to teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed and the Ten Commandments. Together, we place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for their instruction in the Christian faith. We assist families with their child’s faith development so that what they learn and experience sustains now and throughout their life.

February 14 - Kindergartners receive Stepping Stone gift and blessing
February 28 - First Communion Instruction class for those who have not received previous instruction
March 7,14,21,28 - Fourth Grade Communion classes
April 1 - Maundy Thursday First Communion Service

First Communion Classes for 4th graders
Fourth graders will begin their classes for First Communion in March. Save these dates for classes: March 7,14,21,28.

The children will attend class at 12:00 – 12:45.

A parent must attend class with their child.

They will take their First Communion on Maundy Thursday, April 1st at 7:30p.m.

This class is designed for our fourth graders but older children who have not received First Communion can attend. If you have questions talk to Anne Larsen.

First Communion Instruction class
This class will take place Sunday February 28th at 12:00. Pastor Eric will give First Communion Instruction for older children or adults who have not previously received instruction but would like to. If interested or have questions please talk to Anne Larsen or Pastor Eric.

Valentines Day Babysitting Saturday February 13th!
Attention all Love Birds! You need a night out and we can help you with that. Our 6th graders, along with adult supervision, would love to babysit your children.

We will have crafts, games and fun to keep them occupied while you enjoy a leisurely night out together.

You can bring your children Saturday February 13th any time between 5:00p.m. and 10:00p.m.

The 6th graders take a free-will offering which is put towards our mission of supporting our NESCO friends in Uganda.

Kindergartners to receive a gift and a blessing.
Kindergartners will have their turn to receive a gift and a blessing on February 14th during both services. Please bring your child 10 minutes early to meet with their Faith Guides. They will come to service as a class.

Garage Sale
Dig out that good junk for the church garage sale!! Keep the dates… the sale will be Thursday May 13th to Saturday May 15th. You can start bringing items in on Sunday May 9th at 1:00.

Items we can take – household goods, clothing, toys, books, tools, sports equipment, furniture (NO Upholstered furniture)

Items we do not take – computers/printers, stuffed animals, exercise equipment, stereo equipment, infant car seats.

Sunday school takes place during the 9:00 and 10:30 church services
Children age 3 (potty trained) through 6th grade
Fee: $20 per child
