For age 3 through 6th grade, there is Sunday School at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.
every week.

The
Mission of Sunday School is to Make Disciples
Servant of Christ
Lutheran Church is a place where children come to know God’s great love
for them. As children grow in their faith, parents and the church work
together to teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed and the Ten Commandments.
Together, we place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for
their instruction in the Christian faith. We assist families with their
child’s faith development so that what they learn and experience sustains
now and throughout their life.
2008-09
Sunday School Registration
Registration is taking place now for children 3 years old (fully potty trained)
through 6th grade. Registration forms are available in the Narthex on
the Children’s Ministries Bulletin Board or you can download a form
on this
website. Children can register for class during the 9:00 or 10:30 services.
Fee is $20 per child as of June 1
Dates To Remember:
- November 9 - 2nd graders receive Bibles
- November 9 - “Get to know your Bible” class for 2nd grade – 11:45 in the lower level Sunday School area.
- November 30 - NO Sunday School – Thanksgiving Break
- December 14 - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Special Sunday School Christmas Service – 6:30
All children participating 3 years old through 6th grade- MARK YOUR CALENDARS!- December 21&28 - NO Sunday School – Christmas Break
Christian
Education Committee Meetings:
The committee meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00
pm. Please join us at any meeting to discuss any concerns, upcoming events
or to learn more about the Children's Ministries here at SOC. We are looking
for members who would be interested in joining the Education Committee. For
