“So let’s do it—full of belief... Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on.” –Hebrews 10:24-25

Sermon Title: The Kingdom of Heaven and Ordinary Things

Theme Jesus uses many ordinary things to illustrate what the Kingdom of
Heaven is like. The Kingdom of Heaven is not just a future reality. It is
growing in us and among us now.

Questions to Think About as You Read:

1) What do the parable of the mustard seed and the parable of the yeast tell us about the kingdom of          heaven?
2) What does the parable of the hidden treasure tell us about the kingdom
     of heaven?
3) Is it comforting or frightening to think about the Kingdom of Heaven as both a
    present and future reality?
