There are so many things happening here at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church! Surely one of our small groups will meet your needs. Contact the church office for more information.

Baptism Classes
Come and learn more about the meaning of baptism, and how to arrange for a baptism here at Servant of Christ. We invite all ages to be baptized. Join us for baptism class on the first Sunday of the month at 12:00 noon. Please contact the church office at 763-427-5070 to reserve a spot. Classes are held every other month – April 11, June 6, August 1, October 3 and December 5.

Monday Morning Brew—6:30 a.m.
Join Servant of Christ members and friends for a little Morning Brew at Culver’s on the southeast corner of 169 & Elm Creek Parkway. They are meeting at McDonald’s in Champlin until Culvers reopens. “David, Developing a Heart for God” is the book they are using. This group meets Mondays from 6:30-7:15 a.m. Come when you can, leave when you need to, stay as long as you like. All women are welcome to attend.

Women’s Bible Study
“The Word, the Whole Word and Nothing but the Word”
Peggy Mortier is leading a study on Colossians at church on the first and third Sunday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. You won’t want to miss these inspiring sessions studying God’s word. Bring your Bible and bring a friend. Contact Peggy at 763-576-8581 for more information.

“The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism”
Sign up for a study of this New York Times Best Seller. Author Timothy Keller addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. He explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. To believers he offers a solid platform on which to build their faith. To skeptics, atheists, and agnostics, he provides a challenging argument for pursuing the reason for God.

Pastor Eric will lead the class which meets on the following Tuesdays, 4/6, 4/13, 4/27 and 5/4 from 7-8 pm. Cost for the book is $15 and the class will meet in the room at the back of the sanctuary.

Young at Heart to Study James
Young at Heart will meet on Monday, March 1st @ 11:30am in the room at the back of the Sanctuary. Pastor Eric will continue to lead the study of the book of James by focusing on Chapter 5. Young at Heart is for members and friends of Servant of Christ who are retired or semi retired. Invite a friend – bring a bag lunch – have fun fellowshipping with one another. If you need a ride call the church office 763-427-5070 and we will arrange a ride for you.

Young at Heart
Meets at 11:30 am the 1st Monday of each Month (Sept.-June)
Young at Heart will meet in the Family Room at the back of the Sanctuary. We will be studying the Bible with discussion. Bring a sack lunch and we’ll enjoy an awesome bible study, food and fellowship. This group is for retired and semi-retired members and friends of Servant of Christ. Come and join us and bring a friend.

SOC Men’s Bible
Meets the 3rd Saturday of each Month
Men – this is for you. You are invited to come and bring a friend. We meet from 8-9am all men are invited to be part of an inspiring study of God’s Word. Come meet some guys in the church and get together for a time of fellowship and a time to grow deeper in your faith. This is a place where you can ask your honest questions about faith.

Wednesdays 6 a.m. Women’s Bible Study
Wednesday mornings at 6am the Women’s Bible study group meets at Hudy’s Café in Champlin studying the book of Isaiah. This non-denominational gathering is a source of inspiration. You are invited to come. It’s a great way to start your new day, studying God’s word, praying and fellowshipping together – plus drinking coffee and staying for breakfast - if you have time. If you need to leave for work – you can leave whenever you need to. It meets every Wednesday all year long unless the Wednesday falls on a holiday. Fridays 6am Men’s Bible Study
Every Friday morning at 6am there is a Men’s Bible Study at church in the room back of the sanctuary. All men are invited to attend. If you would like more information please call the church office.

Prayer Chain
Prayers for concerns within the congregation and the larger community. There are both day and night time Prayer Chains. Call the church office 763-427-5070 with your prayer requests.
